My name is Becky Lord and I am 30 years old. My husband, Logan, and I have been married almost eight years and we have two kids, Jackson (almost 6 & in Kindergarten) and Elsie (4 & in the Bear Cubs). We have three dogs- a Weimaraner named Gunther, a goldendoodle named Leo and a mini goldendoodle named Libby! My husband is currently transitioning from active duty Air Force into the reserves because we love it here so much and plan to call Illinois home for the foreseeable future. I was born and raised in California, but I have lived in many states and have traveled all across the world. I attend Shiloh Church and have been a follower of Christ ever since I can remember. If you’re curious about my background, I’d love to talk to you about it. I have my Bachelors in Social Work with a minor in Early Childhood Education. Organization and decorating are two things I truly enjoy doing. I love to read and usually read over 150 books a year. I used to fly airplanes, my favorite movies of all time are The Lord of the Rings, if I could dress up in a costume all the time, I would, and I get so much joy from a good dance party! Family means the world to me and I am so glad that my parents and two of my siblings moved to Illinois to be with us! I have five siblings spanning the ages of 43 and 21, two of which are my half siblings and the other three are all adopted, which is a big factor as to why I got my Bachelors in Social Work. I have worked in children’s ministry since I was 11 years old and have always felt called to this mission field, and that is why I am so grateful to be in this position here at Three Springs Preschool and Shiloh Church.
