Hello! My name is Casey Dunn. I am originally from Wichita, KS. I attended the University of Kansas in Lawrence starting in 2000.  I fell in love with the city of Lawrence, so after I graduated, I stayed and started teaching at a Montessori school. Teaching and working with children have always been passions of mine. I have been teaching for over 12 years. I was also the education director of a learning center in Lawrence, KS and I was in that role until my family relocated. 

I am married and have a son and a daughter. Being a mom is one of my greatest blessings. My husband is former Air Force and is now a contractor at Scott Air Force Base. His job is what brought us to Illinois in 2017. We love living here and hope to be here for the foreseeable future. We have a dog named Hattie and a sassy cat named Lucy. Our pets and children are the true runners of our household. My daughter, Charlotte, attended Three Springs Preschool for 2 years before I started teaching here in 2024.  I was the lead teacher in our Rainbow Butterfly class. I always say I fell in love with Three Springs Preschool as a parent and that love has grown even more since becoming a teacher and now in the role of director. 

Some fun facts about me and my family: We are HUGE Kansas City Chiefs football fans! Football season is a big deal in my house. My husband waits longingly for the preseason in August. We are also Kansas Jayhawk fans as well. Both of my children are adopted as well as myself. I knew long before I ever became a parent that I wanted to adopt and we are beyond grateful for our 2 amazing children.  

I am so excited to be in this position at Three Springs Preschool and look forward to each new school year.
